easy pad see ew

6 oz. uncooked noodles
2 broccoli crowns, cut into bite size pieces
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons rice vinegar
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
Begin cooking the noodles. Follow the directions, they may vary slightly depending on what kind of noodle you are using.
While those continue to cook heat the sesame oil in a large pan or wok. Cook the garlic and broccoli until softened. I added a couple spoonfuls of the pasta water to my pan to help the broccoli cook a little more. The broccoli should turn bright green. In a small bowl whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar and red pepper flakes if using. Once the noodles are done cooking drain them and add them to the broccoli and garlic. Pour the sauce over everything and cook over medium heat until most of the moisture has absorbed into the food. Top with sesame seeds and cilantro.
